Jay was unquestionably one of the kindest people I ever encountered (but never met in person). He encouraged me and he believed in me. And that was worth more than I can ever express. To have someone of his stature spend time answering my questions, to have someone like him be willing to write a blurb for my book…well, it just shows what an amazing person he was and how much he cared about entrepreneurs. He was just a really nice guy and gave so much to the world of small business. I will really miss him.
If you want to get to know Jay a little bit, here’s my interview with him from back then:
Thank you for all you gave the world, Jay. You will be missed.
